The Philosopher spent the early months of it's life in quiet contemplation aging in Kentucky Owl Bourbon Barrels. The result is a distinct expression of oak and bourbon aromatics to initiate the sensory experience. Subtle notes of cocoa, vanilla, coconut, and mild bourbon flavors are complimented by a medium mouthfeel.
This imperial stout finishes smooth and bound to induce reverie at a powerful 9.6% ABV.
