Zweigelt is a crossing of Austrias other two most popular red grapes, Blaufrankisch and Sankt Laurent. The resulting wine is deep in colour, but soft in tannins.
Deep ruby garnet with violet reflections and a broader brightening of the edge. Red berries and cherry aromas underlined with a delicate touch of vanilla. Beautiful body, juicy, elegant tannin structure, harmonious, sour cherry and dark berry confit, lingering finish, excellent companion for food.
