Coming from La Crau, the heart of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, this is a BIG wine. This is as full bodied as it gets, with prominent tannins and high alcohol. Aromas reveal great coherence and development, with vanilla, tobacco, dried cherry, and leather. On the palate the flavours come across as brighter and fresher, with rich cherry. Herbal notes of thyme and oregano meet spice notes of clove and cocoa. Perfect for rich, slow cooked dishes like Osso Bucco.
