TASTING NOTES
Houchart Rosé has delicate citrus and strawberry aromas that carry onto the palate and develop into flavours of field berries, watermelon and mineral notes. A quintessential provencal rose that is clean and refreshing. Enjoy as an aperitif with smoked salmon, charcuterie, salads and sun-drenched summer afternoons.
METHOD
This Cote de Provence rose is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes grow on clay and limestone soils formed from the decomposition of the mother rock from the surrounding mountains. This rose is made by direct pressing, with cold maceration lasting 12-24 hours. All varieties are fermented separately in tanks for 12 to 24 days at 18 degrees Celcius.
