This Pinot Gris is from the southern Okanagan, Keremeos off the 3A highway. Despite being further south, it does not show any over ripeness. Citrus is huge on this wine, along with some blossom and apricot notes. Fermenting partially in oak and aging 3 months on lees has given this wine a light aroma of bread-dough and just a touch body on the palate. Otherwise the high acidity and lemon/grapefruit notes keep this a hot day patio wine.
