Chateau de Pitray has a special place in our heart (and our shelves!) It is the magnificent Chateau we rent for the Epicureans Co Culinary Adventure (www.epicureans.ca). Chateau de Pitray is located just on the border of St-Emilion, you can literately see St-Emilion from the top of the Chateau tower! Therefore, it has all the great characteristics of sought after St-Emilion wines without the hefty price tag. Primary made of Merlot with a bit of Cabernet Franc, it has a medium to full body, structured tannins with cherry, plum and vanilla aromas and flavours.
