Chateau Croix d'Allons Rosé is from Bandol, an area of Provence known for intensely concentrated Mourvedre based reds. That same approach is used in this Rosé of 60% Mourvedre, 20% Grenache, and 20% Cinsault. The wine is perfectly balanced and packed with flavours of strawberry, raspberry, orange skin, and melon. Beyond all that though it carries itself with a richness and stoney minerality that really sets this as an exceptional Provence Rosé. Creamy, full bodied, and long on the finish, this goes way beyond your average patio pounder - this could easily stand up to roast pork loin, duck confit, or other rich meat dish.
