As far as English bitters go, this was livelier than I expected it to be, but comparing a cask engine to a can is unfair on so many levels. Flavour though? All the boxes get checked here. Great malt depth without going full on roasted, earthy, floral hops that give the signature bitterness, and an overall subtlety that allows this to go down easy without being boring.
