A white wine made from red grapes is uncommon practice, but they do exist, traditionally known as a Blanc de Noir, or “white from black”. While still obviously a white wine there does seem to have a hint of blush to it, lending to a little colour from the skins making it through the press. That blush shows up on the palate as a hint of strawberry, which plays nicely with the more apparent peach, pear, and blossom notes. There is an acidity that keeps this zippy while its on the tongue, but quickly fades to a soft oak touched finish.
