The nose begins with peach, toasted wood, and touch of that waxy / wet wool note. On the palate expect a rich, round texture with more stone fruits. Acid comes in sharply, giving citrus and green apple. Warm vanilla notes follow and the finish shows some floral and herbal notes. A nice balance between classic Chenin Blanc notes and some complexity from 8 months in oak, giving a great evolution on the palate.
