A blend of Portuguese varietals Jaen (80%), Tinta Roriz (10%), Alfrocheiro Preto (5%) and Touriga Nacional (5%), the Prunus is deeply pigmented, leading with dark fruit - Plums and Blackberries. There is a hint of oak and a discreet savory undertone.
Our panel agreed it is a great wine for grilled meats and other hearty dishes.
