Trocken indicates this as a dry Riesling, while "Spatlese" refers to a late harvest. What does that mean for this wine? Well, the grapes were left on the vine to ripen and develop additional complexity, then fermented to dry, giving a higher degree of alcohol (12.5%), and a richer texture. Typically high acidand flavours of citrus blossom, lime peel, and green apple. Additional complexity begins to show with ginger, honey, and petrol. Pair with hot smoked white fish, roast pork, or even sushi! Organic, Biodynamic, and Vegan.
