Not only is love in the label, this is seriously good wine. George Descombes took over the family farm in 1988 and was inspired by Marcel Lapierre to make certified organic and natural wines. This is made with the Gamay grape and produces the lightest wines of the 10 Beaujolais crus. A pretty wine that’s soft, floral and fruity -- but not one to hold, so look for the youngest vintage on the shelf. Serve chilled and pair with equally elegant dishes, perhaps a Provencal seasonal roasted chicken. 100% Gamay Noir grapes from Beaujolais, France.
